Conceptually the machine comprises a device which sucks in sand/dust of the desert and transforms it into the magical sounds of music. Metaphysical interpretation of the meaning of this device is as follows: The device takes in the sand of the desert, and by passing it through the collective mind of the people in it transforms it into the magical sounds. People that find themselves inside the vehicle will directly or indirectly with or against their free will become irreplaceable and unique components of the greater mechanism that is a unique combination of minds of the people in the car at the given time. This mechanism performs the processing of the energy flow that resulted from preliminary processing of the sand through the mechanics under the hood. Therefore the sand goes through the 2-stage processing, 1st being through the mechanical processing plant under the hood, the second being the collective mind of the people, with the final result being the sound of music.

In other words this device(the art car) has the following elements:
Input channel – the vacuum intake device
Converter/Device – the automobile itself with the people in it
Output channel – two huge speakers

Purpose of the vehicle (prioritized)
1. Carries an art statement through the strong conceptual idea where the car is an integral part of the desert.
2. Party car – presumably can accommodate up to 15 people.

Details/Technical description
Car is comprised of two main parts. Small dance floor (observation area) above (capacity around 6 people), and a chill-out area below (capacity around 7 people). Additional benches can be attached to either side of the truck (capacity around 6 people).

On the sides of the dancefloor there will be large speaker-like housings that could hide the real speakers. Music resulting from “the conversion process” will be heard in the radius of 30-60 feet around the car. Also on the dance-floor we propose to install a loveseat for the greater comfort and viewing pleasure. Below, in the chill-out area there will be multiple mattresses, bean-bags, etc., also for increased comfort. In front we’ll place the “suction device”, which will be light, and will have hidden caster wheels below to support it. At night the car will be lit-up by el-wire, most likely involving animation elements to illustrate the flow in the hoses. There will also be black-light lamps in the chill-out area. Presumably the car will be painted and patterned.
