This past fall I took an amazing course from my favorite School of Motion, called Advanced Motion Methods. This is one of the projects I did for that class. The style frames were provided and we were supposed to figure out how to animate this thing. It was quite challenging, but I learned so much. I recommend this class to any motion designer is ready to up their game.
